Volunteers said the problem began when Monongalia County condensed the committees overseeing the park into one.
A fire broke out in Marion County early Friday morning.
The Marion County 911 Center said it started at a Ridge Runner's Incorporated warehouse on Bunner Ridge Road around 1:20 a.m., and firefighters had it under control around 3:00 a.m.
Numerous fire departments were called to the scene, including the Winfield Fire Department. It closed Bunner Ridge Road as firefighters worked to get the fire under control.
911 officials issued a statement asking anyone on the east side of Fairmont to stay inside, and close all windows and exhaust fans due to the flames.
Ridge Runner's Incorporated installs auto supplies, caps, and campers and officials said the 6,000 square foot warehouse on Bunner Ridge Road was full of auto accessories.
