BUCKHANNON -

The Upshur County Convention and Visitors Bureau said it hopes to be in its new office location by May.

Executive Director Laura Meadows said with no storage and more staff, it has outgrown its present space.

The CVB will share office space with the Buckhannon Upshur Chamber of Commerce in the center block of Main Street in Buckhannon.

"Main Street is really a busy street for downtown Buckhannon. So we're going to have a lot more visibility, better ability to attract people have them come into our office space, and tell them about Upshur County where they can go, things they can do," Meadows said.

The location also will offer a gallery showroom to showcase Upshur County and individual offices for staff members.
