BUCKHANNON -

The city of Buckhannon plans to install security cameras at its Crossroads Recycling Center.

The center is located near the Buckhannon Walmart.

The cameras will give the recycling center 24-7 surveillance coverage.

The city said it wants to stop illegal dumping there, and is proposing an ordinance to fine people.

The cameras will cost more than $20,000 and should be operational in April.
