Friends of Blackwater will host a fundraiser Saturday, February 16 with seven films about winter wildlands and recreation.

The Backcountry Film Festival will start at 6 p.m. in the Tip Top Cafe in Thomas.

A suggested donation of $10 will get you in.

The Winter Wildlands Alliance created the film festival in 2005 to help grassroots and professional filmmakers show audiences their love for the outdoors in winter.
