TAYLOR COUNTY -
A West Virginia Delegate introduced a bill on Friday that could allow patients with serious illnesses to use medical marijuana if their doctors recommend it.
Mike Manypenny (D-Taylor County) introduced the bill to the state legislature.
It has been referred to the House Health and Human Resources Committee, and advocates are calling on the committee to hold a hearing on the bill.
Similar bills have been denied hearing in the past two legislative sessions.
