Trinity Christian School Students Perform for Friendship Manor Residents

MORGANTOWN -

Students from Trinity Christian School performed a Presidents Day play at Friendship Manor in Morgantown on Saturday.

The performance is put on by students as part of the History curriculum taught by Joyce Poag at Trinity Christian School.

The Daughters of the American Revolution invite the students to Friendship Ridge, so the Manor's residents can hear about history.

"It's to give the people here at Friendship Manor some historical significance that they might not otherwise know," said Sandy Theis, Regent of the Colonel. Zacquill Morgan Chapter of the DAR. "It gets kind of lonely when there's only seniors and no children. It's just a really good fit for everybody, everybody just loves it."

This is the third year Trinity Christian School has participated.
