A fire caused minimal damage to a home in Worthington Sunday.
The Worthington Fire department said a fire started in the kitchen of a house on Canary Street in Worthington.
The cause of the fire was a lighting fixture.
The owner of the home was present when it started and called 911.
The damage to the home was minimal, and contained to the kitchen.
The Worthington Fire Department said it was approximately $1,000 in damage.
