FAIRMONT -

The Fairmont Chamber Music Society hosted the Monticlaire String Quartet in Fairmont Sunday.

The concert was held at the St. Peter Fisherman Church.

The society has hosted four concerts a year, for the past 31 seasons.

The Monticlaire String Quartet was started by a husband and wife pair.

"In college we started up and we've changed membership a number of times. We found this job as the resident ensemble with the West Virginia Symphony and when anyone left for another job we audition people to come in," said Andrea Di Gregorio, cello player.

The quartet will be in Fairmont with the West Virginia Symphony Sunday, February 24.
