The Elkins Police Department was notified Tuesday by school officials at Elkins High School that a student was discovered with drugs in their possession.
Police said a teacher found a 15-year-old girl with a very small bag of marijuana and a glass pipe.
The matter has been turned over to the Randolph County Juvenile Probation Office.
There is no word from the Randolph County Board of Education on what steps they'll take involving the student.
