Morgantown police arrest a man suspected of robbing a gas station late Wednesday night.
According to a release, the clerk of the Shell gas station on University Avenue reported the theft at 11 p.m. The clerk told police that a man in a black jacked and black beanie said he had a gun then took money from the register and safe before fleeing the scene on foot.
Shortly after, police found Larry Dale Friend, Jr. on the rail trail near Fourth Street. Police said Friend had $313.00 in cash but no gun.
