State Police arrested a Norton man on drug charges Tuesday night.
Dylan Kyle, 30, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
On Tuesday night in Randolph County, a state trooper observed a black Audi A6. When the trooper approached the vehicle, the vehicle began to drive noticeably different, according to the criminal complaint.
When the state trooper checked the registration of the Audi, it was found that the registration was for a 1983 Chevy Camaro.
The state trooper then initiated a traffic stop, where he detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, according to the criminal complaint.
The driver of the vehicle, Kyle, told the state trooper that a bowl and a small amount of marijuana were in the console of the vehicle, according to the criminal complaint.
The state trooper found two individually packaged bags containing approximately 80 grams of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana in the vehicle. According to the criminal complaint, the trooper also found a firearm in the vehicle and removed it from the scene.
Kyle told the state trooper that he had lost his job and need to make money to support his family, according to the criminal complaint.
