Congressman David McKinley paid a surprise visit to Doddridge County High School Thursday afternoon to recognize a student who has earned an appointment to the United Stated Naval Academy.
McKinley told the whole senior class what an honor that is.
Caleb Moore said he's excited about starting his career in the Navy and looks forward to serving his country.
"I know it's one of the best schools in the nation, for one, and for two, I would like to serve the country, I would like to serve the military, so for me, it was the best way to do both of those," said Moore.
