Don't miss a high-energy show as tribute band The WannaBeatles performs at 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at WVU Parkersburg's College Activities Center.

The WannaBeatles have been creating a bit of "Beatlesmania" of their own. The WannaBeatles consists of award-winning and talented music producers, arrangers, studio players and singers. Band members include: Dennis Scott (guitar, synth, vocals), Bryan Cumming (saxophone, guitar, flute, vocals), Nathan Burbank (keyboards, vocals, bass) and David Toledo (drums, percussionist, vocalist).

During their first "all Beatles" gig together, it was love at first note. Since then, the WannaBeatles have developed a following of regulars who look forward to the band's own special version of the "British Invasion." Two-time Grammy- and Emmy-winning composer and producer, Dennis Scott's songs have been recorded by such artists as Ray Charles, Faith Hill, Alison Krauss, Sugarland, Amy Grant and many others. His music has been featured on shows such as "Sesame Street," "Guiding Light" and "Who's the Boss."

Tickets for the WannaBeatles performance at WVU Parkersburg are $10 for the public and $5 for
students, faculty and staff. Tickets are available in the college business office (8 a.m. - 4 p.m.) or by calling 304-424-8223. Credit cards are accepted. For information contact Student Activities at 304-424-8309.
