MORGANTOWN -

West Virginia University's Sustainability Awareness Week will begin Sunday, February 24.

The week focuses on different aspects of green living. The first event to kick off the week-long program will be a "Campus Cleanup."

"Although we're not able to cover the whole gamete of sustainability, we're looking at waste avoidance and recycling and alternative transportation," said Clement Solomon, the director of sustainability at WVU. "How can we educate our students for green careers and the green economy that's ahead of us."
