MANNINGTON -
Mannington community members got into the Relay for Life mode Sunday. They held a Longerberger Basket Bingo to raise money for the Relay for Life.
The main point was to also get people thinking about joining a team or creating one of their own.
"Come, start teams, join an existing team and we're really wanting people to spend the night," said Sandra Parenti. "A lot of people don't realize why we spend the night and it's basically to show support for our cancer survivors, or people who have lost ones to cancer. Therefore, we want everyone to spend the night and walk, we'll have entertainment going on."
Relay for Life is at Huff Park in Mannington on May 17th from 6 p.m to 6 a.m.
