MORGANTOWN -

The Monongalia County Girl Scouts received its cookie delivery Monday.

Volunteers from each troop in the county came to pick up their order. More than 63,000 boxes of cookies were sorted out after the pick up.

But don't expect your cookies to arrive just yet.  The Girl Scout Cookie Chair, Lori Teets, said to be patient.

"We deliver today, this is the main delivery for the area. The troops get the cookies and then the girls have to sort them to individual orders and then get them delivered door to door," Said Teets. "That takes a little time, if you haven't got your order in the next week or so just be patient, they're coming."

If you did not pre-order your cookies the girl scouts will be doing booth sales at local retail stores.
