If you go to the American Academy of Pediatrics 2013 legislative session, you will learn a lot about child advocacy at the state and federal level. You'll also learn about the academy's federal policy priorities, and attend interactive skills-building workshops on how to help advance child health legislation at the federal level.
You can also hear first hand from state and federal government officials and participate in meetings with U.S. legislators and their staff on Capitol Hill.
