Authorities in Barbour County arrested a man accused of sexual abuse.
Charges against Shawn Ware, 34, include sexual exploitation of a minor and first degree sexual abuse.
Cpl. Shrader of the West Virginia State Police said he arrested Ware in Upshur County on Monday night after an ongoing investigation that started last April.
Shrader said Ware lived in Barbour County at the time of the alleged assault.
He's in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail without bail and will appear in court on Wednesday in front of Judge Moats.
