Monongalia County Sheriff's Office Responds to Street Sweeper Accident

The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene of a street sweeper that had traveled off the roadway and into a creek on Crafts Run Road in Monongalia County just after 1:32 p.m. Wednesday.

The driver told deputies that the street sweeper may have experienced a mechanical failure before it fell into a nearby creek. The driver didn't sustain any injuries.

The Granville Volunteer Fire Department and Monongalia County EMS also responded to the scene.
