The finalists vying for the title of 'Mountaineer Mascot' faced off Wednesday night in a "Cheer-off."

The four finalists are Michael Garcia, B. Jay Hatfield, Daryn Vucelik, and Jonathan Kimble, who looking to continue his reign as Mountaineer mascot.

The competition, which took place Wednesday during the WVU vs. Baylor game, gave the finalists a chance to work the crowd for the judges.

"I just love being the Mountaineer, whether I'm in the classroom, the weight room, or just out in the public with the elementary kids, it just comes naturally to me being around people and representing West Virginia and WVU," Kimble said.

The winner will be announced March 9.
