The Bridgeport Police Department is investigating two reported burglaries.

Police said the burglaries happened Wednesday evening around 7:45 p.m. after a resident found a burglar inside his home on Carriage Lane.

When authorities responded to that call, another person flagged them down to report a burglary at his house on Rivendell Drive, according to Bridgeport police.

The burglar is described as 5' 10", medium build, and wearing all black clothing, including a toboggan hat.
