Update

A Virginia man who was wanted in Morgantown on sexual assault and nighttime burglary charges has been arrested by the Iowa State patrol.

Michael Moses Tarpeh, a.k.a. Michael Moses Boadi and "biggggg Mike", 23, was arrested near Council Bluff's, Iowa on March 5. He was wanted by the Morgantown Police Department related to an ongoing investigation from Feb. 2, 2013.

Tarpeh is awaiting extradition to Morgantown and will appear in court on charges of first degree sexual assault, nighttime burglary, malicious wounding and grand larceny, according to the Morgantown Police Department.

The Iowa State Patrol and the Mountain State Fugitive Task Force of the U.S. Marshals Service made the arrest possible.

Ohio State University issued a public safety notice just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The OSU Police Division was made aware of a dangerous wanted person who may be in the campus area.

An individual identified as Michael Moses Tarpeh is currently wanted by the Morgantown Police Department for aggravated assault and attempted sexual assault. He is also wanted by the Massachusetts State Police for an armed carjacking, robbery and assault and battery of a motorist in Lee, Massachusetts.

Arrest warrants are pending with the University Of Connecticut Police Department.

Michael Moses Tarpeh also goes by the alias of Michael Moses Boadi and refers to himself as "Bigggggg Mike."

Tarpeh is 23 years old, described as "heavy set," 6ft., 280 lbs. He is not an OSU student.
