The Webster County Board of Education approved closing documents for two of its schools at its meeting Wednesday night.

The board proposed closing Diana Elementary and Glade Middle Schools last year. Students at Diana would attend Webster Springs Elementary, and all of the county's 7th and 8th graders would attend the high school.

The board has set hearing dates in April for all Webster County schools. Those dates are April 8 at Diana; April 10 at Webster Springs; April 11 at Webster County High School; and April 12 at Glade Middle School.

Board members could vote on the closures at its meeting on April 16.
