A benefit was held on Saturday at Hotel Morgan in Morgantown for the Rape and Domestic Violence Information Center.
This is an annual event that serves as the largest fundraiser for the center.
The event has been held for over 20 years, and this year's theme was Mardi Gras.
The event not only serves to raise money, but the get the word out about domestic violence as well.
"On each of the tables there's a card that gives some of the basic statistics of domestic violence in this area and it's not a pretty picture," said Marjorie McDiarmid, RDVIC.
There was a silent auction, live auction, dinner, and entertainment.
