The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department is investigating two bodies found at a residence on Merle Yost Road in Monongalia County Monday.
At approximately 10 a.m., Monongalia County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to an address on Merle Yost Road for a 911 hang-up call, according to a news release from the sheriff's department.
Once inside the residence, deputies located two deceased persons, identified as Dorothy J. Roy and Dennis E. Roy Sr., according to a news release.
The two bodies were transported to the State Medical Examiner's Office for autopsies.
The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident as a murder-suicide.
