Monday marked the second of two planning meetings for the old Woodburn Elementary School in Morgantown.

Community members are working with the city to plan how they could use the property.

Morgantown resident Chris Haddox said it could benefit the entire community.

"We're not trying to come up with, 'This is what its going to be.' We're coming up with, 'Wow this seems like a neat concept lets go out and find models that we can emulate.' That we can study and say hey this community did something similar. How did they make it work?" Haddox said.

Haddox said part of the challenge is engaging the community without actually having control of the site.
