The Belington Police Department arrested a man on a drug charge Sunday.
Travis Felton, 28, was arrested and charged with possession of heroin with the intent to deliver.
On Sunday at approximately 10 p.m., the Belington Police Department received a drug complaint from the Barbour County 911 Center.
Police responded to a residence on Watkins Street in Belington. After arriving at the residence, police met the home owner who advised that she has just gotten home and had found a bunch of needles and drugs in her bathroom and wanted them removed, according to a news release from the police department.
The home owner then gave police written consent to search the residence. During the search, police found several needles along with a clear bag with several individually wrapped red bags with powder in them, according to the news release.
The powder was then tested and came back positive for heroin. According to the news release, the street value of the heroin is approximately $1,000.
Felton is currently in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail with bail set at $20,000.
The Barbour County Sheriff's Department assisted in the investigation.
