The WVU Extension offices in three area counties will kick off Master Gardener Classes Tuesday.
Extension agents in Tucker, Randolph, and Barbour Counties offer the ten-week course which covers topics from basic botany to more advanced and modern growing techniques.
The students then take their newly-acquired knowledge and share it with the community.
"That can be done through giving demonstrations to local groups on gardening aspects as well as perhaps implementing a garden within the city or surrounding area, anything like that," said Josh Peplowski, WVU Extension Agent.
Peplowski said classes for this session are full but that they may host more if there is enough interest.
