MORGANTOWN -

The Sportsman Emporium had an end of the trapping season fur sale on Saturday.

Sam Garrett goes to the Emporium each year at the end of the season to buy furs from trappers in the area.

Garrett's self proclaimed best customer has been coming to his end of the season set up for about 40 years. Trappers in the area look at Gaylord Shaw as somewhat of a legend.

"Well, I love it. That's my hobby. I look forward to it every year. I used to trap and throw it away when they weren't worth anything," Shaw said.

Shaw will turn 80 this summer.  He has been trapping for 75 years.
