BRIDGEPORT -

Two West Virginia University football greats were at the Meadowbrook Mall on Saturday.

Will Johnson is a former WVU star and is currently the starting Full Back for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was there along with Shawne Alston, a WVU grad student and NFL hopeful.

Both were at the mall signing autographs and taking pictures with fans at Collectibles Etc., a business out of Charleston.

Alston said he loves meeting the fans.

"A lot of times they see us on the field and you don't get to talk to them for real. You don't get to see the passion that they have other than them screaming and yelling as fans. You get to come out here and talk to people, shake hands, and just hear stories about why they're such passionate Mountaineer fans," said Shawne Alston, former WVU football player.

Collectibles Ect. will have Tavon Austin at the mall for autographs on March 23rd.
