A Marion County man will have to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life after a ruling by Marion County Judge Michael Aloi.

Judge Aloi sentenced Edward Utter to up to six years in prison for two counts of attempted abduction and three counts of indecent exposure. Utter will get credit for the 990 days that he has already served.

Utter exposed himself to two teenage girls and one woman in 2009. He also tried to lure the two girls into his car, according to police.

Utter must pay all attorney fees and court costs. Utter will also undergo mandatory DNA testing and HIV screening.

Utter is being held in North Central Regional Jail.
