Clear Mountain Bank has promoted Harry Hayes to the position of vice president of mortgage origination. 

In his new position, Hayes will be responsible for building and leading Clear Mountain Bank's mortgage origination team, extending mortgage loans and developing business. 

A native of Kingwood, Hayes began his career with Clear Mountain in 2006 and entered the bank's management trainee program. He was promoted to the position of mortgage specialist at the bank's Kingwood office in 2007.  

Hayes earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from West Virginia University. He also is a graduate of the West Virginia School of Banking and the West Virginia Banker's Association Branch Management School. Hayes  serves as secretary for the Kingwood Lions Club and serves on the finance committee for the Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department.  

Hayes works for Clear Mountain's office at 330 E. Main St. in Kingwood. 

Clear Mountain is a locally owned and managed community bank serving Monongalia and Preston counties in West Virginia as well as Garrett County, Md.
