The city of Morgantown said they'll be prepared for all the St. Patrick's Day parties.
Last year, two "I'm Schmacked" videos filmed in Morgantown went viral, documenting WVU's St. Patrick's Day parties.
This year city officials said they are prepared.
The city and University have been working together prior to every major event planning to keep everyone safe.
"The situation we had last year was that we had a lot of our first responders injured. They were getting bricks thrown at them, beer bottles. They were knocking over light poles. That's a very serious situation," said Mayor Jim Manilla, of Morgantown.
Last year, more than 35 arson fires were set on St. Patrick's Day weekend.
