When WVU medical students graduate in May they now know where they'll be headed.
Friday, students throughout the country opened their envelopes to reveal their residency matches.
More than 100 WVU students will graduate in May.
The annual "Match Day" ceremony is emotional for many who finally see four years of hard work pay off.
"It's really a culmination of what we've been working on for the past four years, and kind of your goals and achieving what you want to do so it's a great day," said medical student Amanda Palmer.
Earlier this week WVU's school of medicine was ranked third in the country for rural medicine by US News and World Report.
