Conservation of our natural resources is a topic you hear a lot about lately and a local water board is making an effort to get kids started early.

Kids from the Anmoore Head Start came to the Clarksburg Water Board Tuesday to meet its mascot, Aqua Duck.

The children also learned how the water board keeps their water clean and they took a tour of the facility to see how it all worked.

This is the third such tour the water board has held in the last two weeks.
