UPDATE:

Clarksburg police said a man who went missing Friday evening has been located.

A concerned citizen found William "Bill" Mays, 88, and took him to his home in Farmington, according to Clarksburg police. The citizen then called Farmington police to inform them of Mays' whereabouts.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Authorities in Harrison County are actively searching the Emily Drive area of Clarksburg after an elderly man disappeared from WalMart.

William "Bill" Mays, 88, is white, approximately 5'8, and weighs 147 lbs. He is wearing a blue Air Force Hat, a brown/orange plaid shirt, and brown pants, according to the Clarksburg Police Department.

Police said he was last seen at WalMart with his daughter, but he wandered away. Mays suffers from Alzheimer's.
