ROANOKE -

WV Weddings Magazine hosted its wedding extravaganza at Stonewall Resort on Sunday.

The expo featured sessions like, "budget minded brides" and "do it yourself centerpieces."

Vendors also filled the ballroom offering everything a bride will need for the big day.

Coordinators and vendors said bridal fairs like this one make planning a wedding a little easier.

"Some of the brides come in and are so overwhelmed, they go into an expo and there's just so much information being thrown at you. Sessions are more one on one, and it also gives you ideas on how to save money, and do your own centerpieces," said Christina Lankford, WV Weddings.

"I think for the brides it pulls everyone into one location, so it's kind of like one stop shopping. They can come pick out a photographer, pick out somebody and most times they don't even think about their makeup until the day of their wedding," said Carmela Irwin, an independent makeup consultant.
