Update

Antero Resources is packing up and leaving Mount Clare, but it's not going far.

Antero is moving in to two new buildings at the White Oaks development in Bridgeport.

The nearly 50,000 square feet of space will make room for nearly 200 employees.

Antero said it has the option to add three more buildings in the future and may use its current space in Mount Clare as a field office.

Original story

Several construction projects are currently underway through the White Oaks Development Project.

White Oaks said the new Sheetz should open by the end of May and 50,000 square feet of office space for Antero should be finished in July.

Workers also are building a new Courtyard by Marriott and could start on another hotel in about a month.

Construction is also underway for Thrasher Engineering.

The development at white oaks is a three-phase project. Work is currently in the process of phase one, which includes about 100 acres of development. Phase two will take place near the Saltwell Road exit and phase three will take place near the east side of Interstate 79.

Justice Federal Credit Union also recently purchased some property in the White Oaks area, a total of 470 acres of development.
