West Virginia University Institute of Technology will have a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. April 4 for its new student success center, the university recently announced.

The center, which is housed on the third floor of the Vining Library, is part of the university's newest initiatives to fulfill its mission to "recruit, retain, rebuild," the university stated in its news release.

The West Virginia Legislature upon approval from the Higher Education Policy Commission funded the project, totaling more than $400,000.
