Kent State Professor Talks About Impacts of Energy Mining at WVU

A Kent State professor spoke at WVU Tuesday about the impacts energy mining has on our water resources.

Brian Lutz said mining and our natural resources can co-exist, but adds that a lot of human activity impacts water.

He said it's important to study how different types of mining affect water supplies so that we can be better informed when selecting new energy systems, and what energy mining practices to do.

The event was hosted by the hosted by the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design.
