The Marion County budget continues to reflect a strong financial state.

County commission said employees will get a three percent pay increase for the eighth straight year.

Commission will also give $17,000 to each volunteer fire department.

These contributions won't require tax increases.

Commissioners attribute the strong financial situation to their collective business experience.
