BUCKHANNON -

It was "Do Good Day" at West Virginia Wesleyan.

Wesleyan teamed up with several different organizations to do various service projects around campus.

Students and faculty picked up trash, painted curbs, and planted a rose garden.

The students said they want to give back .after what Wesleyan has given to them.

"So there's this idea that we're here and we need to do something we need to do something for the local community that's allowing us here to be here as a college, so we need to something for the college that we're here participating in," said Morgan Downing, of W.Va. Wesleyan "We Lead".

"Do Good Day" also featured live music and food.
