Clarksburg hit a record high temperature on Wednesday, so it was the perfect day to get some ice cream and spend some time outside.

And that's just what people all across the area did. The parks were filled with people of all ages enjoying the weather, and Toni's Ice Cream in Adamston had a long line most of the evening.

"I think probably about 2 o'clock, when school was let out and the little kids were coming, and then it increased through the day, lunch is our rush hour. And we've been really busy since then," said Abby Audia, who works at Toni's.

Toni's has a lot to offer all of the customers.

"Regular ice cream cones, flurries, milkshakes, ice coffees, hot food, we sell a variety of things. And the raspberry ice cream cones," said Samara Kendrick, a Toni's employee.

Many kids were at Toni's and like the ice cream best.

"Vanilla with sprinkles," said Bryson Gabbert.

"Vanilla ice cream," said Maddison Bennett from Jane Lew.

And they also said what they did during the nice weather.

"I like being at school playing," said Isaiah Gabbert.

"I like Hide and Go Seek!" Bennett said.

Toni's wasn't the only business in the area profiting from the nice weather. Coal Country Mini Golf in Fairmont had steady customers all week.

"We had close to 100 people each day over the weekend. They've come out they've played and they've had a blast," said Sherie Coogle, manager of Coal Country Mini Golf.

Coogle said there's an easy way to know when the course is open.

"If Big John's turning when you're driving down the interstate then you know we're open," said Coogle.

The warm temperatures are here to stay for at least one more day, Jason Parrish forecasts Thursday to have a high of 81 degrees, with p.m. showers.
