Mark Yoho announced has his intentions to step down as the head football coach at Grafton High School.
Yoho led the Bearcats to a Class AA State Championship during his first year on the job.
His commitment to his family played the biggest role into his decision to step down. After five years as the head coach at Grafton, he was ready for a change.
Following a disappointing 2-8 overall record during the 2012 season, the tough year did not play a part into Yoho's departure. Rather, it was a decision solely on his part to step down.
Grafton administrators are planning to interview potential candidates in the coming weeks.
Yoho cited that he would like to remain on the Bearcats coaching staff, once the new head coach has been named.
