Four people were arrested in an early morning meth bust when police were called to investigate a strange odor.
On April 16, about 1:30 a.m., police went to 928 Gilmore Street in Chillicothe, Ohio to investigate a strange odor. During the investigation found an active meth lab inside of the garage. Detectives with the Chillicothe Police Dept. along with members of the Chillicothe Fire Dept. Hazardous Response Team were called to help with the disposal of the meth lab.
Police also found two children inside the home.
Charlet Stewart, 33, Cheyenne Sowers, 23, Kimberly Richter, 43, and Joshua Irvin, 25, all of Chillicothe were arrested and charged with illegal manufacturing of drugs, possessing chemicals to manufacture drugs and possession of drugs.
The Chillicothe Police Dept. said they had received numerous complaints about the residence and would like to thank those people who helped lead to the investigation and arrests.
