2 Upshur County Residents Plead Guilty in Clarksburg District Court

Two Upshur County residents pleaded guilty before Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull on April 16 in U.S. District Court in Clarksburg, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II.

Kristin Elaine Dye, 20 of Buckhannon, and Brandon Edward Anderson, 22 of Rock Cave, both pleaded guilty to possession of pseudoephedrine to be used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, officials said.

Both Dye and Anderson are free on bond pending sentencing and each face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, officials said.
