The National Energy Technology Laboratory has announced the winners of its annual Earth Day poster contest.

Students in kindergarten through fifth grade made posters to show what Earth Day means to them.

A local student took first place in the kindergarten division.

Natalie Esposito of Suncrest Primary in Morgantown beat out students from across the country with her poster.

NETL will present her with an Earth Day medal for her effort.

First, second, and third place and honorable mention entries are posted on NETL's website: http://www.netl.doe.gov/education/earthday/2013/posters.html.
