The Barbour County Sheriff's Department arrested a Galloway man and charged him with possession of substances to be used as a precursor to manufacture meth.
Sheriff's deputies said Michael Hurst, 30, was involved with dumping meth products near a well road in Brownton, Barbour County.
The Sheriff's Department received a complaint about trash that had been dumped in the area and found bags containing Draino bottles, plastic extractors, mason jars, filters, rubber gloves, batteries, butane lighter, foil, and ice packs.
While going through the items, deputies found receipts with Michael Hurst's name listed.
Hurst is being held in Tygart Valley Regional Jail with bail set at $10,000.
