An unoccupied house caught fire Thursday night.

The Harrison County 911 Center said the fire started at a house on Limestone Road just after 9:45 p.m. Crews cleared the scene just after 11:30 p.m.

The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire and was being remodeled to be rented out to another family, according to the Reynoldsville Volunteer Fire Department.

No one was hurt but the house was a complete loss.

According to the fire department, the utilities were not hooked up in the house.

The cause of the fire is still unknown. The State Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate.

The Reynoldsville Volunteer Fire Department, Nutter Fort Fire Department, Stonewood Fire Department, Spelter Fire Department, and Harrison County EMS responded.
