The natural gas industry is booming in north central West Virginia.

The newest company to expand in West Virginia for that very industry is Fesco Incorporated.

It recently put up 45,000 square feet of business space in Shinnston and Friday it held an open house.

"We are gas well testers. We test gas wells to find how much oil, water and gas they make. Then we have labs that tell us what's in the oil water and gas," said Bill Findley, Fesco CEO.

Fesco currently employees more than 40 people in North Central West Virginia it said that number is expected to double in the next year.
